Preservation is key!📖

What is now known as Black History Month started out as Black History Week, and was created thanks to Carter G. Woodson.
Carter G. Woodson was a scholar whose dedication to celebrating the historic contributions of Black people led to the establishment of Black History Month, marked every February since 1976. Woodson fervently believed that Black people should be proud of their heritage.
He started the annual observance to expose school children to black history, and in the hope that Black Americans and others would be able to see all of the contributions Blacks had made "to the advance of human civilization,".
Therefore, now more than ever, we must preserve black history, Fam. 24/7/365.
Be informed.
